Healing requires a cleansing of the soul and body along with a thirst to move forward (avancer). Healing takes time, it is an ongoing process that never ends because one cannot heal forever. As living beings, we will always face new challenges but through the healing process we learn to care for the spirit (esprit), replenish our energy flow to cope with the daily struggles. Clarity is essential to recognize traumas, identify patterns and unlearn unhealthy behaviors. Our capacity to smell (humer) is extremely valuable in healing. Smells are closely linked to memories and emotions. In certain meditation types for instance, scents are used to calm and facilitate relaxation.
